Discipleship
As United Methodist our understanding of discipleship is connected to our Wesleyan understanding of grace. A grace-centered life is the foundation of followers of Christ. A disciple in the Wesleyan tradition is defined as follows:
A disciple is a follower of Christ whose life is centered on loving God and loving others.
Our discipleship journey begins at our baptism and ends when we transition from this life to eternal life with God. To that end at Arlington we offer a cradle to grave discipleship model. Our discipleship model begins in our nursery, expands age appropriately in the children and youth ministries and continues through adult Sunday school, small group and bible studies.
