Arlington United Methodist Church

Children & Family Ministry

Children’s Moment
Mid way through our 10:30 am worship service children up to the 3rd grade are invited to the altar for a “kid’s size” sermon.  This time is lead by church members and pastors and is designed to bring the sermon to a child’s level.  Any church member interested in presenting this five minute storytime is asked to speak with the Children’s Ministry  Director. Topics are provided.  Help bring God’s word to the mind of a child!

Children’s Church
Following the Children’s Moment during the 10:30 am worship service, children grades Kindergarten through 3rd are invited to our Gathering Room for Children’s Church.  This time is designed to allow the children to worship in a setting full of songs, stories and prayer time.  Children’s Church lasts for the remainder of the worship service with the exception of Communion Sunday where the children are brought back into the sanctuary to participate in the Lord’s Supper with their familes.  This time is lead by church members and the Children’s Director with topics and resources provided by the Children’s Director.
